Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can I pay for my order?
  • Canine & Co would like to make it as easy as possible for you, so we have several ways for you to choose from:

    1. You can pay via credit or debit card using our highly secure payment system.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit/Electron, Maestro/Switch and Solo cards.
    2. You can pay with Paypal.  Did you know that you can also pay with your credit and debit card via Paypal and you do not need to have an account with Paypal nor do you need to create one to pay via this method.
    3. You can also pay by Postal Order and Cheque (payable to Canine & Co).  We will despatch your order once the cheque has cleared.
    4. If you prefer you can pay by bank transfer or bank credit.  Please contact us for details.
  • Are all items inclusive of taxes?
  • Yes.
  • What about abroad?
  • Please note international orders may be subject to import duties and taxes.  Where products are delivered to you outside of the European Union you will be responsible for paying any local sales tax or import duties arising at the delivery destination, which are not included in the price of the products.
  • Do you offer Express Delivery/Recorded Delivery?
  • Yes, you can choose the special delivery option at checkout.  This ensures that you receive your order by 1pm the following day if ordered before 2pm Monday to Friday.  Orders placed over a weekend or Bank Holiday will be sent special delivery the next working day.  If you would like any other type of service that is not currently showing at checkout, then please contact us with the details and we will be happy to help - woof@canineandco.co.uk.
  • How do I redeem a Gift Voucher/Credit Note/Discount Code?
  • When you view your basket you simply type in your unique offer code that was provided to you.  The basket will then refresh to reflect the voucher/discount.
  • Can I place an order over the telephone or via email?
  • Yes.  We appreciate that not everyone likes to order via the website alone.  Therefore, you can telephone us on 0843 2898098 or email us on woof@canineandco.co.uk and we can help you with  your order. 

    Whilst we are able to take your order over the telephone or via email, payment details cannot be taken over the telephone, however you can still pay via any of our normal methods of payment.  We will help you through this simple and easy process.
  • Do you ever pass on my details?
  • No, we will never share or pass on your details
  • Is it safe to give my details out on your website?
  • Yes, Canine & Co uses 'Secure Trading' secure payment services to process Credit and Debit card orders and all payments are encrypted to ensure your purchase is safe and secure. The team at Canine & Co will never actually see your card details with this 100% secure system.   Paypal is another option which is 100% secure.
  • What should I do if I don't receive an email confirming my order?

  • I can't see the size I'd like in the product I want?
  • This may be because that size is out of stock and therefore cannot be selected. You can always email us to double check that there isn''t one lurking in the stockroom somewhere... there is always a chance of an error on the site. 
    Alternatively, if you email your interest in this size/product we can let you how quickly we can obtain the size that you want.
  • How can I find the items I want online?
  • Simply use the ''search'' link near top of each page and type in the product description of the item you are looking for.  Alternatively, you can use the links on the left hand side of our home page or the links across each page near the top.  Products are categorised to help finding what you are looking for easier.  If you are still struggling, please let us know by email woof@canineandco.co.uk and we will be happy to help.
  • How do I find the correct size for my dog?

    In addition, with every product we sell, there is a 'sizing guide' providing you with inidividual measurements for that product and helpful information on selecting the right size.

    We want you to get it right, so if you are still unsure, please contact us (woof@canineandco.co.uk) and we will be delighted to help you find the correct size for your particular dog.
  • What if I buy the wrong size?
  • If you purchase an item that is the wrong size, don't worry, we will exchange it for another size or product (or give a refund if no appropriate size is available / exists excluding any postage and packing costs) providing you notify us in writing (via email to help@canineandco.co.uk) and they are returned in an unused condition and within 14 days of delivery to you.

    Additional postage costs at the same rate as your original order may be applied. With this in mind we ask that you please measure your pet correctly before placing an order. Should you need any assistance with selecting the right size, please contact us and we will help you.

    We recommend that you send your return via a secure method such as registered post as we are not responsible for lost returns.
  • How do I wash the items I have purchased?
  • We advise that all items are Hand Washed separately in warm/tepid soapy water, reshaped and allowed to dry naturally.
  • Out of stock items?
  • Canine & Co, will, upon receipt of your order contact you to advise if an item is out of stock and keep you updated as to the expected shipping time. We automatically ship all of out stock items once they become available. In the unlikely event that an item is permanently unavailable Canine & Co will offer a full refund or a credit note to the value of the goods.
